Emmanuel College, Kazo is a mixed Day and Boarding Catholic Secondary School founded by Kampala Archdiocese in 1986 by the Late Emmanuel Cardinal Nsubuga. The school accommodates learners from S.1 - S.6 of all religious denominations.
We promote Moral and Spiritual formation with the aim of producing a holistic and self-reliant person who will survive the test of time. The school is managed by a team of qualified teachers who are motivated to offer the best to the leaners at all time.
Currently we are constructing a new classroom block so as to give the learners best of the best in a very condusive environment. We are fundraising so as to realise our dream. Any generous donations are welcome. Please contact the administration offices for more information.

Every school is a centre of transformation not for the learners only but for the general community too. This reality of growth should be visible through practical application, in virtues and in physical manifestations, via socially acceptable expressions.
Emmanuel College Kazo, a catholic – founded Mixed Day and Boarding Secondary School, located in Bwayiise Parish, owned by Kampala Archdiocese, aspires to train youths people to become useful people not only to themselves but the world at large. Our role is to intentionally reimagine the future today through well programmed activities to deliver a totally formed product. Through education, we eternally touch the mind and soul, whose proper alignment serves to nurture global citizens with a divine mandate “to be fruitful and increase in number, fill the earth and subdue it” (Gen 1: 28).
Emmanuel College Kazo labours strategically to train learners not only in academics but in vocational and entrepreneurship skills. Learners are facilitated to focus their career dreams by exposing them to the current and future dynamics of work in a creatively multi-sectoral environment backed by a beaming faith in innate abundance.
We lead learners to dig deep within themselves to understand who they are in order to bring out the best of who they are through their talents. This is truly the ultimate goal of education.
We would like to invite partners and stakeholders, both in Uganda and in the diaspora to join hands and share in making Emmanuel College Kazo a centre of relevant education in the 21st century. We have various projects, at different levels, both small and big, all geared towards this holistic transformation. All these projects can be seen at our website: ww.emmanuelcollegekazo.c.ug/school projects.
We would like to thank our parents for enabling us to be. To all our partners in growth, we are forever grateful. We are thankful to the Archdiocese of Kampala for founding Emmanuel College Kazo.
As we “Toil to Harvest”
Emmanuel College Kazo gave me more than just an education — it gave me confidence, discipline, and the skills I use every day. The supportive teachers and hands-on learning environment truly shaped who I am today.
We invite you to partner with us in shaping learners who serve both themselves and their communities. As a Friend of Emmanuel, you can support our programs in a role that suits you—whether as an individual, family, organization, or institution.
